A woman was repeatedly stabbed to death by her husband in front of their 10-year-old son in the Osmangazi district of Bursa. After the incident, the young child's words during the report prompted the teams to take action, while the woman's relatives suffered a nervous breakdown at the scene.
In Bursa, Zafer Güngür (40) killed his wife Müjde Güngür (36) with a single knife strike in front of their 10-year-old son after an argument.
THE CHILD REPORTED THE MURDER
The incident occurred in the Güneştepe neighborhood of Osmangazi district. According to claims, 40-year-old Zafer G. began arguing with his 36-year-old wife Güzde G. for an unknown reason. The argument quickly escalated and ended in bloodshed. Zafer G. stabbed his wife multiple times in front of their son. While the severely injured woman collapsed in a pool of blood, the young child and those nearby reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center and requested help. Upon the report, numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
FAMILY SUFFERED NERVOUS BREAKDOWN
During the medical teams' examination at the scene, it was determined that Güzde G. had died. Police teams took extensive security measures at the scene, while the murder suspect, Zafer G., was quickly apprehended by teams from the Bursa Public Order Department, Homicide Bureau Office, and taken into custody.
Family members who received the tragic news and came to the scene were overcome with tears. Some relatives suffered nervous breakdowns, and teams and nearby citizens struggled to calm them down.
After the public prosecutor's investigation, the unfortunate woman's body was taken to the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy. The investigation into the incident continues.
