A man who shot and killed his wife, with whom he was in the process of divorce, in the middle of the street in Haymana district of Ankara, then committed suicide.
In the Haymana district of Ankara, Serdar Hakbilir began to talk on the street to reconcile with his wife Songül Hakbilir, with whom he was in the process of divorce.
HE KILLED HIS WIFE AND THEN HIMSELF
During the conversation, Serdar Hakbilir pulled out the weapon next to him and shot his wife first, then himself. Upon the notification of citizens who witnessed the incident, health and police teams were dispatched to the area. The health teams determined that the couple had lost their lives during the examination.
A WIDESPREAD INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED
While the police teams took security measures at the scene, a widespread investigation was initiated regarding the incident. The bodies were taken to the morgue for autopsy after the prosecutor's examination.
