During searches carried out toward morning, it was determined that M.D. was hiding in an empty room in the Neurosurgery Department.

M.D., who did not comply with the police teams' call to surrender, opened fire with his handgun. The suspect, who was neutralized by the teams' intervention, was taken into custody.
