Fenerbahçe Medicana announced that they have parted ways with head coach Marco Fenoglio and his staff following the defeat against Galatasaray Daikin. The yellow-navy team lost to their eternal rival for the first time in 5.5 years.
In the first match of the Vodafone Sultanlar Ligi Play-Off 1-4 Stage, Galatasaray Daikin faced Fenerbahçe Medicana. The match, played at Burhan Felek Vestel Volleyball Hall, was won by the home team Galatasaray with a score of 3-2. Following this derby defeat, separations occurred within the yellow-navy team.
FENOGLIO AND HIS TEAM HAVE BEEN DISMISSED
The yellow-navy club announced that they have parted ways with Head Coach Marco Fenoglio and the coaching staff of the Women's Volleyball Team. The statement from Fenerbahçe is as follows;
"We have parted ways with the Head Coach Marco Fenoglio, Assistant Coach Stefano Micoli, and Conditioning Coach Maurizio Negro of our Fenerbahçe Medicana Women's Volleyball Team. We thank Marco Fenoglio and his team for their efforts and wish them success in their future careers."
CİMBOM WINS AFTER 5.5 YEARS
With this victory, the yellow-red team has defeated Fenerbahçe after 5.5 years. In the series where the team that reaches 2 victories will advance to the final, the second match will be played on April 12, Saturday at 13:30, once again hosted by Fenerbahçe at Burhan Felek Vestel Volleyball Hall.
