On the first day of the holiday, MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli visited the grave of his party's founder, Alparslan Türkeş. Speaking to reporters, Bahçeli drew attention with the message, "After the holiday, steps will be taken towards a new and strong Turkey."
MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli visited the mausoleum of his party's founder, Alparslan Türkeş, in Beştepe on the occasion of Ramadan Bayram. During the visit, the Quran was recited and prayers were made, while Bahçeli left a carnation at the grave and poured water.
"WE ARE WELCOMING THE HOLIDAY WITH SADNESS AND SORROW"
After the visit, Bahçeli made statements to the press, noting that the holiday was entered with a somber atmosphere, saying, "We are welcoming the holiday with sadness and sorrow. We are entering a new holiday period in an environment where developments around our country and multifaceted political conflicts are prevalent, along with the escalation of conflicts between countries."
IT INDICATED THE POST-HOLIDAY PERIOD
Bahçeli, who also made evaluations regarding the post-holiday period, emphasized that Turkey will move towards a strong future. Stating that "It will be a Turkey where important services and steps are taken," Bahçeli expressed that political parties should act with a common understanding.
"WISH FOR CONSENSUS"
Bahçeli stated, "I hope that the parties represented in the Parliament will be in a consensus to solve all of Turkey's issues through their efficient and effective work."
