It emerged that a 40-year-old man running a meatbread restaurant in the Ereğli district of Konya killed his 70-year-old neighbor for 60,000 TL. The man who confessed to his crime, along with two other suspects allegedly involved in the incident, were arrested by the court.
Aytaç Görmez, who runs a meatbread salon in Konya, was determined to have stabbed and killed his 70-year-old neighbor for 60 thousand TL.
FOUND COVERED IN BLOOD AT HOME
Nuran Şenli, a resident of Yunuslu Mahallesi Eski Cezaevi Caddesi who lived alone, was found by her relatives on Friday morning covered in blood at her home. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. During their examination, the teams determined that Şenli had been stabbed to death. Şenli's lifeless body was taken to Ereğli State Hospital morgue for autopsy.
60 THOUSAND TL SEIZED
Following the incident, the police launched an investigation and determined that Şenli was killed during the night by Aytaç Görmez, who runs a meatbread salon in the adjacent building. Görmez was taken into custody at his home in a police operation. During a search of the house, approximately 60 thousand TL forcibly taken from Şenli and the murder weapon, a knife, were seized.
ARRESTED WITH 2 SUSPECTS LINKED TO THE INCIDENT
Deepening their investigation, the police detained Y.K. and A.B., alleged to have connections to the incident. It was reported that Aytaç Görmez confessed to his crime during questioning. After their procedures at the police station, the three individuals were referred to the courthouse and were arrested by the court.
