According to the information obtained, relatives of F.T., who resided in a 5-story building on Akşemsettin Street in Mevlana neighborhood and allegedly fell into depression after separating from his spouse, were unable to reach him and reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, police teams went to the address and tried to get the door opened by knocking for a long time. When the door did not open, the teams opened the locked door with a card.
POLICE BROKE THE DOOR AND ENTERED AT THE LAST MOMENT
Having slightly opened the door, the teams then encountered a security latch. Unable to enter due to the door not opening fully, the teams extended their phone through the gap and checked inside the house with the camera. Seeing that F.T. was harming himself with a knife, the teams broke the door and entered.
F.T., who was subdued by the teams, was handed over to medical teams. After the initial intervention by medical teams at the scene, F.T. was taken to Kayseri City Hospital by ambulance. It was learned that the individual's health condition is good.
