One of the highest-earning artists performing in 2024 was Hakan Altun. The artist generated a total income of 7 million 477 thousand Euros from just 48 concerts. Altun, who topped the earnings per concert by a wide margin, entered the Forbes list in second place with an income nearly equal to Cem Adrian, despite performing four times less than him.
According to the stage revenue list for 2024, Cem Adrian topped the chart with 8,127,513 Euros. Adrian became the artist with the most performances and the highest earnings by giving 188 concerts. However, the real surprise of this year came from Hakan Altun, who ranked second.
Altun earned a remarkable 7,477,850 Euros with just 48 concerts. This means he performed only a quarter as much as Cem Adrian but nearly matched his earnings. This situation places Altun far ahead in terms of average earnings per concert.
This striking difference indicates that Hakan Altun's concerts are aimed at much higher-budget, special, or corporate organizations. Altun's strategy of performing less but earning more has positioned him as the highest-earning artist per concert.
SURPRISE OF THE YEAR: YALIN EXPERIENCED A BREAKTHROUGH ON STAGE
Yalın, who ranks third on the list, earned 6,599,325 Euros with 38 concerts. This translates to 173,666 Euros per concert. The most striking aspect is that Yalın earned only 820,000 Euros last year. With a 704.5% increase, he achieved the biggest leap of the year, making him the fastest riser in the industry.
HANDE YENER MADE A COMEBACK, CHALLENGING WOMEN ARTISTS AT THE TOP
The powerful figure of pop music, Hande Yener, earned 2,657,000 Euros with 38 concerts. This amount is nearly four times her income of 675,000 Euros from the previous year. Yener's earnings per concert amounted to 69,924 Euros, with a notable increase of 293%. This leap proved that she still enjoys strong demand in the market and that her comeback has been quite effective.
HADISE IS EXPERIENCING A GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT
Hadise earned only 1,417,000 Euros with 25 concerts, failing to even reach half of her previous year's income of 3.1 million Euros. Ezhel, on the other hand, could only reach 1 million Euros with just 10 concerts. Both artists experienced a revenue loss of 54.5%. The decline in the number of concerts and the decrease in stage tempo led to these two names falling to the middle ranks of the list.
HAKAN ALTUN IS IN THE SPOTLIGHT WITH HIS SUCCESS
Data from Forbes shows that high earnings in the stage world are now shaped not only by the number of concerts but also by the type of events, target audience profile, and scale of the organization. This year's striking example was Hakan Altun. With only 48 concerts, he reached million-dollar earnings by successfully implementing the "less but high-budget stage" model. On the other hand, Yalın made the biggest income leap of the year, strongly marking his name on the list. However, the other side of the list revealed the stars in decline: Hadise and Ezhel fell back in the rankings, losing half of their previous year's earnings.
