In Beyoğlu, Emir T. (32) shot Sezer H. (32), whom he claimed was in a romantic relationship with his ex-wife, at the building entrance. Hit by 6 bullets and seriously injured, Sezer H. was taken to the hospital by ambulance. It was learned that Sezer H. is in life-threatening condition. Emir T., who fled after the incident, was caught by police teams with the gun on him. It was reported that the suspect stated in his statement that he carried out the attack because of the romantic relationship between his ex-wife and Sezer H.
An armed attack that stained the street with blood occurred in Istanbul's Beyoğlu district.
AMBUSHED AND FIRED 6 SHOTS
The incident took place around 13:30 in the Yenişehir neighborhood. According to the information obtained, Emir T. arrived at the entrance of the building where Sezer H. was located. Emir T., who fired a gun at Sezer H., fled after the incident but was caught by police officers with the weapon still on him. Sezer H., hit by 6 bullets in his body, was severely injured. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

After the initial medical intervention at the scene, Sezer H. was taken to Okmeydanı Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşçıoğlu City Hospital, where it was learned that his life was in danger and his condition remained critical. Emir T., who was caught by the police, was found to have 4 prior criminal records, while severely injured Sezer H. also had 4 previous criminal records. In his initial statement to the police, Emir T. claimed that there was a romantic relationship between his ex-wife and Sezer H.
