A 63-year-old man, who allegedly had psychological issues, set fire to his house and vehicle in the Efeler district of Aydın, and then shot himself with a shotgun he had placed under his chin. It was learned that the man's condition is serious after being taken to the hospital.

Mesut M., who lived in the Umurlu neighborhood of the Efeler district and was reported to have psychological issues, first set fire to his house and then to his light commercial vehicle. The 63-year-old man, who was found to be living alone, then placed the shotgun under his chin and pulled the trigger.
HIS CONDITION IS CRITICAL
Those nearby reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Firefighters, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene following the notification. Mesut M. was taken to Adnan Menderes University Hospital by ambulance. It was learned that Mesut M.'s condition is critical. While the fire in the house and vehicle was extinguished, an investigation was initiated regarding the incident.
