Administrative and legal proceedings have been initiated against two individuals who fired into the air during wedding convoys in Sakarya. Fines totaling 23,224 lira were imposed on the individuals, who were found to have used an unlicensed shotgun and a blank pistol.
Two individuals identified as firing into the air during wedding convoys in the Kaynarca district of Sakarya were detected by police teams. Both a monetary fine was imposed and a legal process was initiated regarding the incident.
PENALTIES FOR TWO INDIVIDUALS IN TWO SEPARATE INCIDENTS
According to the information obtained, on July 19, during a wedding convoy held in the Büyükyanık neighborhood, 26-year-old K.K. was determined to have fired into the air with an unlicensed smoothbore hunting rifle. An administrative fine of 8,195 lira was imposed on the individual for this reason. On the same day, during another wedding convoy in the same neighborhood, S.A. was identified as firing into the air with a blank-firing pistol. This individual was also fined 15,029 lira as an administrative penalty.
LEGAL PROCESS ALSO INITIATED
Upon the instruction of the Kaynarca Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a legal process was initiated against both suspects for the crime of "knowingly endangering public safety." The total administrative fine imposed on the two individuals amounted to 23,224 lira.
