When her boyfriend canceled their wedding at the last minute while preparing for the ceremony in Brazil, 22-year-old Bianca Larissa Vieira Caldeira killed her 6-year-long partner, Junio Pereira Barbosa. The wedding was called off following an argument between the couple just 10 days before the ceremony. Seeking revenge, the young woman poisoned her boyfriend's pizza and then strangled him to death the next day while he was seriously ill.
When her boyfriend in Brazil suddenly called off their wedding preparations, the young woman devised a horrific revenge plan. 22-year-old Bianca Larissa Vieira Caldeira brutally killed her 27-year-old boyfriend Junio Pereira Barbosa.
The incident unfolded as follows: Caldeira, who worked as an elderly caregiver, had completed all the preparations to marry her boyfriend Junio. She paid for the expenses at the registry office and even bought the rings and wedding dress. However, just 10 days before the wedding, an argument broke out between the couple, and Junio canceled the wedding.
The young woman hoped that Junio would show up on the wedding day, but that did not happen. She then set her revenge plan into motion. First, she put a poisonous substance (lead) in her boyfriend's pizza. When the poisoned Junio fell seriously ill, she strangled him to death the next day.
After the murder, the young woman covered the body with a tarp and a blanket. She went to work in the victim's car. After work, she took her cousin with her to the shopping mall. Later, she moved to another neighborhood, abandoned the car, and hid the keys. She tried to bury the body, but when she failed, she set the car on fire to destroy the evidence.
Detective Marcus Rios, who is investigating the case, stated, "The sole reason for the murder was her anger at not being able to get married. She felt rejected and therefore killed him."
The investigation also revealed that Caldeira had a relationship with someone else and had tried to obtain lead from this person. The woman claimed she wanted the lead to kill rats on her grandmother's farm. However, the investigation revealed that this person had no connection to the murder.
