A 14-year-old boy who stole a tracksuit from a stall at a neighborhood market in Istanbul was caught by the shopkeepers when he returned to the market for the second time. The shopkeepers tied the boy up with a rope and, after retrieving the stolen tracksuit, released him. While the moments were recorded second by second on a mobile phone, one of the shopkeepers described the incident by saying, "We caught him. I told him, 'I will make you regret this.' He said, 'Brother, the tracksuit is over by the ATMs.' He brought it back, and we let him go."
In the neighborhood market established in Sarıyer Ayazağa, it is claimed that a child stole a tracksuit from one of the stalls. The child, who came to the market for the second time, was caught by a shopkeeper who noticed him. The shopkeeper tied the child with a rope and released him after retrieving the stolen tracksuit. The incident was captured on a mobile phone camera, and shopkeeper Ahmet Saydan, who spoke about the event, said, "We caught him. I told him, 'I will make you born again.' He said, 'Brother, the tracksuit is over there by the ATMs.' He brought it back, and we sent him off."
The incident occurred yesterday around 12:00 PM in the Ayazağa neighborhood. It is claimed that a child, who is said to be around 14 years old, came to the established neighborhood market. Allegedly, the child stole a tracksuit from a clothing stall. After hiding the stolen item near the ATMs, the child returned to the market. The child, who was claimed to have attempted theft for the second time, was noticed by the shopkeepers. Following this, shopkeeper Ahmet Saydan tied the child with a rope. He then interrogated the child to learn the location of the tracksuit. After retrieving the tracksuit, the child was released.

In the images, the child, who was seated behind the market stall, reacts to the words of the shopkeeper narrating the incident, saying "Liars." It is also noticeable that the child, who was seated on a sack behind the stall, was tied by his arms and legs to prevent him from escaping.
"WE TIED HIS HANDS AND FEET HERE" The shopkeeper who tied the child, Ahmet Saydan, said, "He came, took the tracksuit from there, and hid it behind the ATMs. We caught him. I told him, 'I will make you born again.' He said, 'Brother, the tracksuit is over there by the ATMs.' He brought it back. We tied his hands and feet here. We called the police to prevent him from escaping. Then I saw he brought the tracksuit back, and we sent him off."
