THEY ENCOUNTERED A HORRIFIC SCENE WHEN THE DOOR WAS OPENED
The incident occurred on the top floor of a 5-story apartment building on İstiklal Street in Sakarya Neighborhood. Yüksek, who pays his rent in the first half of every month, did not make the payment this time, so the real estate agent went to his house. When the real estate agent knocked on the door and received no response, he informed Yüksek's son C.Y., who lives in Sarıgöl.
TEAMS OPENED THE DOOR
When his son was also unable to open the door, the fire department, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the address upon notification. After the fire department opened the door and entered, Yüksek's lifeless body was found.
THE CAUSE OF DEATH IS UNDER INVESTIGATION
After the prosecutor's examination, Yüksek's body was sent to the İzmir Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy. The cause of Yüksek's death will be determined with the autopsy and police investigation.
It was learned that Yüksek was retired and that his wife passed away about 14 years ago, and he had been living alone since then.
The police are continuing their investigations related to the incident.
