Until medical teams arrived, local residents heartwarmingly showed solidarity by creating shade with their jackets to protect the injured woman from the scorching sun.
A 62-year-old woman, who was heading home with apricots she collected from her garden in Aksaray, was injured when her moped overturned, and the compassionate act of sensitive citizens who rushed to her aid captivated everyone.
The accident occurred on Kavurmacılar Street in Aksaray's Pınar neighborhood. According to information obtained, 62-year-old Leyla K., after collecting a bucket of apricots from her garden, got on her three-wheeled electric moped with license plate 68 AGR 963 and set off towards her home.
APRICOTS SCATTERED, SHE WAS THROWN ASIDE
When she arrived on the street, the elderly woman lost control of her moped's steering and overturned with her vehicle along the roadside. With the impact of the crash, the apricots she had collected with great effort scattered onto the road, while the woman, injured in the head, lay on the ground in pain.
