LAND DISPUTE TURNS INTO ARMED CLASH
The incident occurred in the morning hours in the Yeşilyurt neighborhood of Haliliye district. A fight broke out between members of two families, allegedly due to a land dispute, escalating into an armed clash. Footage recorded with a mobile phone camera showed the parties exchanging fire with pistols and long-barreled weapons.
HOUSE AND LANDS SET ON FIRE
Additionally, a house and cultivated land were set on fire by an unidentified person at the time of the incident. Upon reports from bystanders, gendarmerie and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the area. There were no casualties or injuries, and the fire was extinguished with the intervention of firefighters. Gendarmerie teams took extensive security measures in the area. Efforts have been initiated to apprehend the suspects involved in the incident.
