Normally a focal point of interest for both domestic and foreign tourists due to its flow and appearance, the waterfall has become indistinguishable due to the flooding. With the river overflowing, the walking paths and tourist areas around the waterfall have also been flooded.
ENTRANCES CLOSED FOR SAFETY REASONS
Authorities have temporarily banned access to the waterfall due to the risk to life safety. Teams working in the area have increased security measures against possible new floods, and it has been reported that water levels in nearby streams are also high.
Experts have warned citizens and visitors planning to come to the area to be cautious, stating that the risk of flooding could continue if the rainfall persists.
It is expected that the waterfall, which is a symbol of Manavgat, will become visible again after the water level returns to normal.
