Due to the downpour that intensified in the evening hours in the Fatsa district of Ordu, water accumulations have formed in some neighborhoods and streets.
IT CAUSED FLOODING
The rainfall also caused water accumulations in some sections of the Black Sea Coastal Road. In the district where the rain continues, municipal teams are conducting water drainage operations in the affected areas with heavy machinery.
CALL FROM THE MAYOR TO STAY INDOORS
Fatsa Mayor İbrahim Etem Kibar, in a post on his social media account, requested that citizens be cautious to avoid being affected by negative events such as flooding, landslides, and lightning strikes.
Kibar called for people to stay indoors unless absolutely necessary. Mayor Kibar also reported that all teams are on alert with 40 vehicles and construction machinery.
