A strong snow warning has been issued for Istanbul. According to the warnings, mixed rain and snow are expected on Sunday, while heavy snowfall is forecasted across the city on Monday. Authorities have urged citizens to be cautious due to the sudden drop in temperature and the storm.
After the effective southwesterly winds in Istanbul, there are areas where storms are affecting the city in general. It is predicted that temperatures will drop starting from the evening hours on Thursday.
TEMPERATURES WILL SUDDENLY DROP IN THE EVENING HOURS
Throughout the city, storms will be effective all day long. While temperatures are expected to hover around 17-18 degrees during the day, it is predicted that temperatures will drop by 8-10 degrees starting from the evening hours.
On Friday, partly and slightly cloudy weather will be effective. Starting from Saturday, the storm will regain its intensity in Istanbul, and heavy rainfall will also be observed.

Authorities warned that snowfall will continue intermittently on Tuesday and advised citizens to be cautious and prepared against adverse weather conditions.
