Recently, during a police search of a vehicle belonging to CHP Member of Parliament Ediz Ün in Edirne, a large number of smuggled electronic cigarette devices were seized. While the repercussions of this shocking incident continue to unfold, a new claim has emerged regarding Ediz Ün, stating that he "closed a bar in Bulgaria."

The teams of the Edirne Police Department's Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch stopped the SUV with license plate 34 EKE 86, driven by F.A., at the Edirne toll booths on the TEM highway, which had sirens. Upon inspection, it was determined that the SUV belonged to CHP Edirne Deputy Ediz Ün. During the search conducted with the driver's consent, 530 empty electronic cigarette boxes, 2,242 electronic cigarette kits, 2,790 electronic cigarette heads, 1,275 electronic cigarette igniters, 130 liquid containers, and 18 cigarette liquids were found. F.A. and Ç.R.Ç., who were taken into custody, were released after being processed for the crime of 'smuggling'. The smuggled products were confiscated.
ALLEGATION OF "CLOSING A BAR IN BULGARIA"
While the repercussions of this incident continue, journalist Mehmet Çek claimed on his social media account that CHP Edirne Deputy Ediz Ün closed a bar in Bulgaria. In the photo shared by Çek, a nightclub is seen with the words "Welcome to Pena, CHP Edirne Deputy Mr. Ediz Ün."

In a post tagging CHP leader Özgür Özel, Çek stated: "As details come in, I too have started to agree with you about your Edirne deputy. The Bulgarian parties, closing bars, neon signs in a nightclub in Edirne, 50 bottles of champagne for a woman? Seriously, the man's expenses are quite high, and these things don't seem possible with a deputy's salary. Extra work is a must. However, the only problem at this point is that the information we have received shows that Ediz Ün's main job is not being a deputy but smuggling. In other words, this guy has likely become a deputy just to be able to smuggle comfortably."
