All 11 projects for which the management sought authorization at Galatasaray's Extraordinary General Assembly were approved. President Dursun Özbek stated that the club has reached the level of "Turkey's Bayern Munich," and after the votes, he received a standing ovation from the general assembly members.
The extraordinary general assembly meeting of Galatasaray Club was held at the Lütfi Kırdar International Congress and Exhibition Palace Anatolia Auditorium. At the general assembly, all 11 agenda items for which the Dursun Özbek administration requested authorization from members were approved.
GREEN LIGHT FOR 11 PROJECTS
At the general assembly; projects related to Leo Residence in Mecidiyeköy, the academy and women's football camp building at Kemerburgaz Metin Oktay Facilities, the Aslantepe Valley Project, the New Florya Metin Oktay Sports Facility, the Hasnun Galip Building, and the lands in Riva and Büyükçekmece were approved. Additionally, authorization was given to the administration for the establishment of Basketball Inc. and the public offering of Galatasaray Retailing and Merchandising Inc.
"TURKEY'S BAYERN"
President Dursun Özbek, speaking at the general assembly, stated that the club has reached an important threshold, saying, "Everyone says 'Galatasaray has become Turkey's Bayern Munich.' This is a product of our collective strength." Özbek also described the Aslantepe Valley Project as "Galatasaray's project of the century."
STOOD OVATION
After all authorization requests were approved, Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek was given a standing ovation by the members in the hall.
