Horrific accident on D-100! 2 motorcyclists lose their lives

In Kartal, on the D-100 Highway, two motorcycles traveling in the same direction collided, resulting in the deaths of drivers Emir Enes D. and Serdar Ç. In the accident, İpek Nisa T., who was seriously injured, is under treatment at the hospital, while long vehicle queues formed towards Ankara direction due to the crash. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.

A motorcycle accident on the D-100 Highway in Istanbul's Kartal district ended in tragedy. Two people lost their lives and one person was seriously injured after two motorcycles traveling in the same direction collided.

The accident occurred around 11:00 AM at the Esentepe location on the D-100 Highway in the Ankara direction. According to claims, the motorcycle with license plate 34 NOJ 043, driven by Emir Enes D., collided with the motorcycle with license plate 34 NOZ 242, driven by Serdar Ç., while both were in motion.

THROWN INTO METAL BARRIERS

Due to the impact of the collision, the motorcycle riders crashed into metal barriers and were thrown onto the road. Upon notification from other drivers who witnessed the accident, police, fire, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Police teams took security measures in the area, while one lane of the road was closed to traffic.

2 PEOPLE DIED AT THE SCENE

Medical teams determined that motorcycle riders Emir Enes D. and Serdar Ç. died at the scene. İpek Nisa T., who was seriously injured in the accident, was taken to the hospital for treatment after initial medical intervention.

TRAFFIC DISRUPTED FOR A LONG TIME

After the Public Prosecutor and police teams completed their investigations at the scene, the bodies of the two deceased riders were taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue.

Due to the accident, long vehicle queues formed on the D-100 Highway in the Ankara direction, and traffic returned to normal after the motorcycles were removed. Police teams have launched an investigation into the accident.
