The incident occurred on October 28 in Meydan Neighborhood of Seyhan district. E.D., who went to the police station and claimed she had been abused, was taken to Adana City Training and Research Hospital to be examined. The father, M.D., who learned of the situation, came to the hospital by car during the night. M.D., who entered the hospital with a handgun, tried to shoot his daughter. Police teams took the young woman under protection and brought her to the hospital's police station. M.D., who opened fire with a handgun at the hospital windows, then entered the building and disappeared.
CAUGHT IN AN EMPTY ROOM
Special operations police, who launched an operation at the hospital, determined in the early hours of the morning that the suspect was in an empty room in the Neurosurgery Department. M.D., who did not comply with the police's call to surrender, opened fire with a handgun. Teams caught the suspect and took him into custody. M.D., who was removed from the hospital under tight security measures, was taken to the police station. E.D., who was examined, was taken under state protection.
M.D., who was referred to the courthouse after procedures at the police station, was arrested by the court he was brought before.
