ATTACKED WHILE GOING TO THE ON-DUTY PHARMACY
The incident occurred at night in the Mecidiyeköy neighborhood of Istanbul's Şişli district.
According to the allegations, 26-year-old N.M.Ş., who was going to a doctor, was blocked by her ex-boyfriend N.I. while going to the on-duty pharmacy at night. The suspect opened fire on the young woman with the gun he had with him.
Upon the report, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The young woman, taken to the hospital in critical condition, could not be saved despite all the doctors' interventions.

Within the scope of the investigation, it was claimed that the murder suspect N.I. had been following his ex-girlfriend for about a month.
While police teams have launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident, efforts to capture the suspect continue.

It has been revealed that the suspect had previously received a sentence for a similar crime. According to the information obtained, N.I. was taken into custody in 2021 on the grounds that he had beaten his ex-girlfriend C.G., a nurse, and was released under judicial control.
It was learned that the suspect, who later went to the young woman's home again, attempted to kill C.G. by wounding her on the hand and neck with a knife, and was sentenced to 14 years in prison in the case where he was tried for this reason.
