The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that they carried out strikes on military industrial facilities in Ukraine's capital Kiev in response to the Kiev administration's attacks on civilian targets on Russian territory.
In a statement from the Ministry, information was provided about the Russian military's actions in Ukraine.
STRIKES CONDUCTED DURING THE NIGHT HOURS
The statement, which noted that the Kiev administration had carried out 'terrorist acts' against civilian elements on Russian soil, recorded that in response, the Russian military conducted strikes on military defense facilities in Kiev during the night.
In the statement, it was conveyed that the attack was carried out from land with high-precision weapons, using the words: 'As a result of the strike, the Samsung-Ukraine industrial enterprise, where parts for FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles are produced and stored, as well as a long and medium-range unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) assembly workshop, were hit.'
AT LEAST 7 PEOPLE KILLED IN THE ATTACKS
Ukrainian officials, on the other hand, announced that at least seven people lost their lives in the new attacks carried out by Russia on various regions of the country throughout the night.
HOURS BEFORE ZELENSKY MEETS WITH TRUMP
The attacks occurred just hours before a meeting between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the NATO summit in Ankara.
