The motorcyclist who threatened a driver he argued with in traffic in Beyoğlu by saying, "I am a boxer, I'll break your jaw," was caught shortly after. During the police investigation, it was revealed that the suspect, whose arm was in a cast, was not a boxer, and F.Ş., who has a criminal record of 7 offenses, was released under judicial control conditions.

According to information obtained from the incident that occurred on Sunday, June 21, at around 5:30 PM in the Kocatepe neighborhood of Istanbul's Beyoğlu district, A.A. (27) pulled his vehicle to the roadside and was waiting when he began an argument with two people who arrived on a motorcycle over yielding the way. 

THREATENED SAYING "I'M A BOXER, I'LL BREAK YOUR JAW"

The argument between the parties quickly escalated. During this time, F.Ş., one of the motorcyclists, cursed and threatened A.A. It was learned that F.Ş. threatened the driver with words like "I'm a boxer, I'll break your jaw, go ahead call the police, I'll mess you up badly." Despite bystanders intervening, F.Ş. attempted to confront the driver. The incident was recorded by a dashcam.

IT TURNED OUT HE WAS NOT A BOXER

Beyoğlu Public Security Bureau teams launched an investigation and determined that the incident occurred in the Kocatepe neighborhood. Examinations revealed that the person who issued threats and curses was F.Ş. (28). F.Ş. was apprehended by police. It also emerged that the suspect, whose arm was in a cast due to a fracture, was not a boxer.

RELEASED UNDER JUDICIAL CONTROL

The events were recorded by a dashcam. The footage shows motorcyclist F.Ş., with his arm in a cast, cursing and threatening the driver, occasionally advancing toward him, and bystanders trying to separate the parties. After processing at the police station, F.Ş. was referred to court on charges of 'Threat' and 'Insult' and was released under judicial control. It was learned that the suspect had 7 prior criminal records with the police.
