Konyaspor's Technical Director İlhan Palut made statements after the Fenerbahçe match. Evaluating the match, İlhan Palut said, "These are very important matches. We are playing both a quarter-final in the cup and against a valuable opponent. Before the match, its importance was evident. Once the match started; in the first half, it was a balanced game. Fenerbahçe had some opportunities. We had some too, but we fell short in the final action. In the second half, we responded for 10 minutes, went into the attacking third but couldn't create. We also didn't give Fenerbahçe any major chances. After the 70th minute, it passed with Fenerbahçe's domination. We struggled a lot to press high up the pitch. Our task was to find the right options and bring the ball closer to the attacking third, but fatigue didn't give us that chance. Generally, we waited behind the ball. This was actually negative. We defended well."
