Illegal food operation in Ankara! They have produced counterfeit versions of everything from olive oil to cheese.

In an operation organized by the gendarmerie and the Ankara Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry against counterfeit and illegal food sellers in Ankara, a large number of products were seized.

THEY HAVE PRODUCED COUNTERFEIT OF EVERYTHING FROM OLIVE OIL TO CHEESE

In the studies conducted by the Provincial Gendarmerie Command and the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, information was obtained that counterfeit/illegal food products were being sold and produced at two workplaces belonging to a suspect named N.E. in the Çankaya and Keçiören districts.

MARKET VALUE 1 MILLION 275 THOUSAND TL

During the searches conducted by the teams at the two workplaces, 2,500 liters of counterfeit olive oil, 1 ton of counterfeit honey, 400 kilograms of tea, and 600 kilograms of cheese were seized, with a market value of 1 million 275 thousand TL. The investigation initiated regarding the incident is ongoing.
