In a armed attack on a vehicle that included rapper Canbay in Ümraniye, Istanbul, football player Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı lost his life. As part of the investigation, Canbay's ex-girlfriend Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu was taken into custody. In a shooting incident that occurred in Ümraniye, Istanbul, 21-year-old football player Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı of Kars 36 Spor lost his life. The death of the young footballer, who came to Istanbul for the holiday, has plunged the sports community into mourning.

HE BECAME A TARGET WHILE MEDIATING

According to allegations, Kundakçı went to the studio with his friends to mediate between rapper Vahap Canbay and singer Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu. While they were waiting in the vehicle, suspects arrived at the scene in vehicles with flashing lights and opened fire. The young footballer, who was seriously injured as a result of the gunfire, passed away in the hospital to which he was taken.

THE SUSPECT FLED, OPERATION INITIATED

It was learned that A.K., who was identified as the perpetrator of the attack, fled the scene. Police teams have launched an operation to capture the fugitive suspect.

Grieving father Cemil Kundakçı stated that his son lost his life while mediating between two people, saying, "He was a bright child, he died while trying to do good."
