Hatay truck driver Hüseyin Fırat set off to return to Turkey after delivering a load he picked up from Istanbul to Afghanistan. On March 5, Hüseyin Fırat entered Iran with 15 Turkish trucks, including his father Coşkun Fırat, when his vehicle was hit by a missile launched by Israel.
HE LOST HIS LIFE
While passing through Qazvin province and heading towards the city of Zanjan, the truck driven by Fırat caught fire after being attacked. Hüseyin Fırat, who was rescued from the truck with injuries, passed away on March 12 at Zanjan Hospital. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs intervened to bring Fırat's body back to his hometown.
HIS FUNERAL WAS HELD
With the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hüseyin Fırat's body was brought to his hometown of Reyhanlı in Hatay and was buried after a ceremony held at the Cemetery Complex.
