The accident occurred at the Havvacık junction on the Yayladağı - Antakya road. In the evening hours, the pickup truck, while in motion, crossed into the opposite lane after a tire burst and hit the motorcycle. The driver Mehmet Yalçın and his wife Kevser Yalçın, who was a passenger on the motorcycle, were seriously injured when they collided with the pickup truck while visiting their relatives.

While Mehmet Yalçın's treatment continued at Adana City Hospital, his wife Kevser Yalçın lost her life after a 5-day struggle for survival. Kevser Yalçın was buried in the Yeşiltepe Neighborhood Cemetery after the funeral prayer was held. It was learned that Kevser Yalçın was pregnant and that the couple had married 5 months ago, as she was sent off on her final journey in tears.

The couple who had the accident got married 5 months ago, and the bride came from Yenice Neighborhood. Her husband is receiving treatment in Adana.
