In the Yüreğir district of Adana, a father shot and killed his 13-year-old daughter and 11-year-old disabled son at home, then went to the landlord's apartment upstairs and asked him to call the police, before committing suicide with the same gun.

The incident occurred around 21:00 in the Seyhan neighborhood. İbrahim Kiracı, who lived in an apartment on the second floor of a three-story building, shot his 13-year-old daughter Derin and his 11-year-old disabled son Doruk in the chest with a gun for unknown reasons. He then went to the landlord, told him he had killed his children, and asked him to call the police. After returning home, İbrahim Kiracı shot himself in the head with the gun he used to shoot his children.

THEY LOST THEIR LIVES

Upon the landlord's notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. The teams that arrived at the scene determined that İbrahim Kiracı and his two children had lost their lives. After the police conducted an investigation at the scene, the lifeless bodies of the father and his children were taken to the morgue of the Adana Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy.

SETTLED AFTER THE EARTHQUAKE

It was also learned that İbrahim Kiracı moved from Hatay to Adana with his family after the earthquakes on February 6 and had recently separated from his wife.
