THEY BLOCKED HIS WAY AND BEAT HIM
The incident occurred on June 17, 2025, in the Fatih neighborhood of Küçükçekmece. According to the information obtained, the path of 16-year-old Z.T., who was returning home from school for a project assignment, was blocked by two individuals named Fırat K. and Rıdvan C. The assailants attacked the boy, claiming he was taking photos of a woman, and severely beat the 16-year-old.
Following this, the 16-year-old obtained a medical report after the assault and filed a complaint against the individuals. The trial for the case was held today.
“THEY CHANGED HIS BLOODY CLOTHES AND SAID, 'I FELL DOWN THE STAIRS'”
According to allegations, the attackers resorted to unimaginable methods to hide the bloodied state of the boy they assaulted. They first took Z.T. to a mosque toilet to wash his face, then took him to a clothing store to buy new clothes. The assailants, who put the bloody clothes in a bag, threatened the young boy, saying, "If your father hears, he will have a heart attack; just say you fell down the stairs."
MONEY IN HIS WALLET WENT MISSING
The truth emerged when his older brother noticed the situation upon returning home, and it was brought to justice. Investigations revealed that there were no inappropriate records on the 16-year-old's phone. Additionally, the woman mentioned in the incident stated in her testimony, "I have nothing to do with this incident; such a thing did not happen." The defendants' defense of "I accidentally headbutted" drew attention in court.
In the verdict hearing held today, the court acquitted Rıdvan C., one of the individuals involved in the incident. Fırat K. was sentenced to 1 year and 4 months in prison.
Z.T., who is waiting for the day he will undergo surgery due to a fracture in his nose, and his family stated that the decision was insufficient and that they would appeal the ruling.
“THEY HEADBUTTED ME 4 TIMES”
Describing the horror he experienced, Z.T. said, "They blocked my way and claimed I was harassing a woman. Even though I said I didn't do it, they held my wrists and headbutted me 4 times. Then they forcibly took my phone and examined my gallery. When they couldn't find any photos or videos, they panicked and tried to cover up the incident."
Meanwhile, moments when the boy was assaulted at a workplace were captured by security cameras. The footage showed two individuals calling the young man and then assaulting him.
