Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara issued a strong message against the attacks of the forces loyal to the ousted Assad, calling on these forces to lay down their arms and surrender. Al-Shara stated, "For decades, you have shed Syrian blood, and despite our preference for forgiveness, you are still on the same path."
Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara addressed the forces loyal to the ousted Assad, saying, "By killing those who protect and serve Syria, attacking hospitals, and terrorizing innocent people, you have attacked all Syrians with your disgusting actions. By doing this, you have committed a great and unforgivable sin, and you have received a response that you cannot withstand. Therefore, lay down your arms and surrender before it is too late." Al-Shara also called on the security forces to prevent violations against civilians.
"THE REMNANTS OF THE OUSTED REGIME ATTEMPTED TO TEST THE NEW SYRIA"
Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara released a video message regarding the clashes that began with the attacks on security forces by elements loyal to the ousted Assad in Latakia and Tartus. In his speech, al-Shara stated, "Some remnants of the ousted regime attempted to test the new Syria that they do not know, and today they are recognizing Syria again; they see it as a single and whole country from east to west, north to south."
"LAY DOWN YOUR ARMS AND SURRENDER"
Al-Shara said, "We are a people who want to rebuild the country you have destroyed, and we have no intention of shedding anyone's blood. We are a nation that fights with honor, while you fight dishonorably. What you are doing is not foreign to you. For decades, you have shed Syrian blood, and despite our preference for forgiveness, you are still on the same path. By killing those who protect and serve Syria, attacking hospitals, and terrorizing innocent people, you have attacked all Syrians with your disgusting actions. By doing this, you have committed a great and unforgivable sin, and you have received a response that you cannot withstand. Therefore, lay down your arms and surrender before it is too late," he stated.
"FORCES OF THE COLLAPSED REGIME ARE IN SEARCH OF PROVOCATION"
Addressing the security forces conducting operations against elements loyal to Assad, al-Shara said, "I commend the army and security forces for their determination to protect and ensure the safety of civilians while pursuing the forces loyal to the collapsed regime. I emphasize that no one should allow excessive reactions and should work to prevent them. What separates us from our enemy is our commitment to our principles. The moment we compromise our moral values, we become the same as our enemy. The forces of the collapsed regime are in search of provocation. God has equated the status of the captive with that of the orphan and the poor: 'They feed the poor, the orphan, and the captive.' God has placed the captive in a position where goodness and mercy should be shown. A captive should not be humiliated or beaten, as this is against God's command and the laws of the country," he stated.
"THOSE WHO ATTACK CIVILIANS WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE"
Al-Shara stated, "We will pursue the forces loyal to the collapsed regime that commit crimes against the people, those who seek to undermine security and internal peace, we will bring them to justice, and we will continue to bring weapons under state control. With God's permission, everyone who attacks defenseless civilians will be held accountable. Protecting our people in the conflict areas along the coast and saving them from the evil of the gangs of the collapsed regime is part of our responsibility and duty. Despite the betrayal we have faced, the state will continue to be the guarantor of internal peace and will never allow any compromise on this matter," he said. Al-Shara called on the military and security forces in the conflict areas to obey their commanders to prevent further violations. Al-Shara stated, "Syria is moving forward and will not take a single step back."
THE LATEST SITUATION IN LATTAKIA AND TARTUS

Reinforcements have been sent to Jableh in Latakia and Baniyas in Tartus, while all roads leading to the coastal area have been closed.
