UNLICENSED MINIBUS DRIVER ARRESTED
The injured driver Cemal Karakuş and workers Şerife Evdilek (41), Emre Buğra Sevindik (16), Şadiye Sezer (21), Hakan Yılmaz, Ümmü Demir (48), Emine Gürhan (59), Mustafa Uçman (66), Şenay Yıldırım (45), Ayşe Toker (50), Durdu Mehmet Daş (17), Halil Özer (64), Ayşe Uygun (51), and Fatma Sezer (54) were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulances. Ümmü Demir and Mustafa Uçman lost their lives in the hospital where they were being treated. Hakan Yılmaz could not be saved despite the doctors' intervention today. Yılmaz's body was taken to the morgue for autopsy. Meanwhile, the unlicensed driver Cemal Karakuş, who was detained after his treatment in the hospital, was arrested yesterday at the courthouse where he was brought.
