THE BUILDING WAS NOT BUILT ACCORDING TO THE APPROVED PROJECT AND FIRE REGULATIONS

The expert and fire department report prepared regarding the fire has been added to the investigation file. In the report prepared by a 5-person expert team, it was stated, "Due to a possible short circuit in the electrical installation, the heat generated in the cables spread to other cables because the column cables in the shaft channel were stacked and placed close to each other, leading to the burning of the cables in the shaft channel due to the inadequacy or absence of electrical installation protection and grounding elements. It was assessed that the fire spread and advanced with flames to the roof due to the materials that should not normally be present in the shaft channel and the general structure of the shaft channel and the shaft covers being manufactured in violation of regulations. It was concluded that the fire originated from constructions that were contrary to the regulations due to the building not being implemented in accordance with the approved project and the construction of works contrary to the project."
