Twenty-eight defendants, including Dilan Polat and her husband Engin Polat, have begun to be tried on charges of money laundering and establishing a criminal organization. In the hearing held at the Anadolu 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance, it was decided that the defendants would be tried with a request for prison sentences ranging from 20 to 40 years. The taking of the secret witness's statement was postponed during the hearing.

Dilan and Engin Polat are among 28 defendants who were requested to be sentenced to imprisonment for 20 to 40 years for the crimes of 'Establishing and managing an organization for the purpose of committing a crime', 'Money laundering of assets derived from crime', and 'Violation of the law on organizing betting and gambling in football and other sports competitions'. In its interim decision, the court ordered the release of detained defendants Engin Polat, Sezgin Polat, Alper Kürşat Polat, and Ahmet Gün.

In the hearing held at the Anadolu 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance, Engin Polat, Sezgin Polat, Can Doğu, Ahmet Gün, and Dilan Polat's black box known as Mustafa Özalp 'Mıstık' and the attorneys of the parties were present in the courtroom. In the hearing that started at 10:40, it was decided not to listen to the secret witness due to the fact that the written request for the witness's testimony was uploaded to UYAP, in order to prevent the disclosure of their identity.
