The surgery of Sırrı Süreyya Önder, a DEM Party Member of Parliament who suffered a heart attack in his home in Istanbul, has been completed. Önder underwent an operation lasting more than 10 hours due to a torn aorta and is now under observation in intensive care.

Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and DEM Party Member of Parliament Sırrı Süreyya Önder was taken to Florence Nightingale Hospital by ambulance due to a heart attack he suffered in Istanbul at 11:00 PM last night.

Önder, who was urgently operated on due to a tear in the aorta, underwent surgery that lasted more than 10 hours. After being taken out of the operating room, Önder was placed under observation in the intensive care unit.
