It was observed that family members from both sides attempted to intervene in front of individuals holding weapons, while the timely intervention of the gendarmerie prevented the fight from escalating into a massacre.

THE REASON FOR THE FIGHT IS STILL UNKNOWN

The incident occurred in the village of Çiğiltepe, located in the Sandıklı district. According to the information obtained, a dispute arose for an undetermined reason among N.K., H.G., H.G., H.K., E.K., H.G., S.G., T.G., A.Ç., and Y.D., who had a feud. As the argument escalated into a fight, Nurgül Kocaoğlu (49), Hatice Gümüş (47), and H.G. (47) were shot with a shotgun and a pistol.

Kocaoğlu and Gümüş, who were taken to Sandıklı State Hospital and Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University Hospital, could not be saved despite all interventions. Individuals named H.K., E.K., H.G., S.G., T.G., A.Ç., and Y.D. were detained by the gendarmerie in connection with the incident.
