Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced the results of the May 1 events. Minister Yerlikaya stated: "On May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day, a total of 212 events were held with the participation of 286,584 citizens in 78 provinces."

In relation to the "Wreath Laying and Leaving Carnations on Kazancı Slope" event at Taksim Square, 13 events were held with the participation of 817 people organized by 13 unions. To ensure that May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day passed in peace and security, a total of 122,777 heroic police officers served across our country.
