Three more individuals who were detained in connection with the armed conflict in the Serdivan district of Sakarya, which resulted in the deaths of five people, have been arrested. The total number of those arrested in the investigation has risen to 11.

Three individuals were arrested after their treatment at the hospital was completed following a gunfight that broke out among neighbors in Sakarya, resulting in the deaths of five people.

On April 6, in the Beşköprü neighborhood of the Serdivan district in Sakarya, an incident that began with a fight among children and escalated to involve families resulted in the deaths of Yaşar Özyurt, his sons Onur Özyurt (24) and Özgür Özyurt (21), as well as Fahri Yıldız and Volkan Yıldız, with five others injured.

THREE MORE ARRESTED IN THE MASSACRE-LIKE FIGHT

Police teams that initiated an investigation into the incident detained a total of 12 people, including 4 at the hospital, and seized 6 handguns and 3 rifles. Eight suspects, identified as T.Y. (25), B.T.Y. (50), S.Y. (37), N.Y. (39), F.Y. (45), B.Y. (32), S.T.Y. (27), and F.K. (17), were arrested by the court yesterday after their procedures at the police station were completed. Today, G.Ö. (39) and N.Y. (48), who were under observation at the hospital and had completed their treatments, were sent to the courthouse from the Public Order Branch, while F.U.U. (17) was sent from the Juvenile Branch. The suspects brought before the judge were arrested and sent to prison.
