The Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) has determined the meter control, security, and disconnection-reconnection fees that will be implemented in the electricity market in 2026. The disconnection-reconnection fee for low voltage subscribers has increased from 106 lira to 140 lira, while for medium voltage subscribers, it has risen from 799 lira to 1,048 lira.

The decision of the EPDK regarding the matter was published in today's issue of the Official Gazette.

Accordingly, the meter control fees to be applied next year have been differentiated according to the type of meter. In this context, the control fee for directly connected single-phase active or three-phase active and/or reactive meters has been set at 194 lira. For current transformer and/or voltage transformer active and/or reactive meters, this amount will be applied as 246 lira.

SECURITY DEPOSITS DETERMINED ACCORDING TO CONSUMER GROUPS

With the decision taken under the Electricity Market Consumer Services Regulation, the security deposits to be applied in 2026 have been reorganized based on consumer groups. The unit security deposit for the industry, public and private service sectors, and other consumers has been determined as 746 lira per kilowatt. For residential subscribers, this amount is 263 lira, while it has been set at 131 lira for the families of martyrs and combat veterans. For agricultural activities, lighting, and other subscription groups, the security deposit will be applied as 354 lira per kilowatt.

WILL BE VALID FROM JANUARY 1

The disconnection-reconnection fees to be applied in 2026 have also been determined according to the voltage level. The disconnection-reconnection fee for low voltage subscribers will be 140 lira, while it will be 1048 lira for medium voltage subscribers. The decisions made at the board meeting on December 25 will come into effect on January 1, 2026.
