Ferit Kaya, the Iron of the Distant City heading to Paris, humorously protested the lack of a bidet. Kaya stated, "This Europe is nice and all, but friends, please solve the bidet issue. Let those who want to wash do so, and those who don't, can refrain. I am addressing the Europeans from here. Please, at least have bidets installed in hotels."
The actor Ferit Kaya, who plays the character "Demir Baybars" in the series Uzak Şehir, has recently made headlines not for his role but for a video he shared from Paris. Kaya expressed his frustration over the absence of "bidets" in European toilets, almost rebelling against it.
"SOLVE THIS BIDET ISSUE"
The famous actor, using a humorous yet troubled tone in his post, said:
"Bro, this is Paris, this is Europe, all good, but friends… Please solve this bidet issue. Really. Just put them in hotels. Those who don't want to use it don't have to. But those who do can use it. I'm calling out to Europeans from here. Please install bidets in toilets. At least in hotels."
Kaya's outburst quickly drew attention on social media, with the post becoming a topic of discussion filled with comments of "justified rebellion." Some users supported him by saying it was "the biggest deficiency in Europe," while others found Kaya's remarks humorous.
UZAK ŞEHİR ACTORS STRANDED IN MARDIN
The Uzak Şehir series took a short break for the New Year. Seizing the opportunity, the actors wanted to come to Istanbul. While the cast and crew of Uzak Şehir, filmed in Mardin, were preparing to head back to Istanbul, they faced an unexpected setback. Due to heavy snowfall in Mardin, Uzak Şehir actors Atakan Özkaya, Alper Çankaya, and Burak Şafak were affected. Their flights were canceled, leaving the actors stranded in Mardin.
"ME IN PARIS"
Ferit Kaya humorously responded to his co-stars being stranded in Mardin. In his social media stories, Kaya shared a photo with the caption, "While the whole crew is stranded in Mardin, me in Paris," laughing at the situation.
