Thousands of fans celebrated the 62nd anniversary of the Bursaspor Club with torches and fireworks.
Green-white fan groups coordinated after a post made on the team's social media account and gathered at the Bursa National Garden, where the old Atatürk Stadium is located. Speaking here, AK Party Artvin Deputy Faruk Çelik congratulated the green-white fans on their 62nd anniversary.
Çelik, stating that the fans looked very beautiful, said, "All of Turkey is talking about you. Bursaspor started playing in the Super League in 1967. Since that day, we have achieved very important successes. We still have a lot of work to do." Yıldırım Mayor Oktay Yılmaz also expressed his hope that Bursaspor, which has risen to the 2nd League, will win championships in every new age.
After the speeches, as the clock showed 21:16, thousands of torches were lit, and a fireworks display was held. After singing the club's anthems and celebrating the anniversary, the fans dispersed.
