HIS AUNT CAME OUT CRYING
Minguzzi's aunt Aylin Akıncılar came out of the courtroom crying. According to the footage shared by İhsan Yalçın, Akıncılar made a brief statement to reporters, responding to the question, "Did the defendants show remorse?" as follows:
"I don't think the defendants feel remorse. They were connected via SEGBİS (Audio and Visual Information System). Neither of them was here. I did not see any remorse. I believe it would have been better for the defendants to be present in the courtroom instead of connecting via SEGBİS."
UP TO 24 YEARS OF IMPRISONMENT SOUGHT
Charges were filed against the suspect children B.B. and U.B. for "intentional killing of a child," seeking imprisonment of 18 to 24 years.
