The Ministry of Justice has initiated an investigation ex officio against accounts and individuals that propagate the terrorist organization YPG/PKK and share the organization's provocations.

The ministry stated that the judicial process regarding the mentioned content will be carried out with determination.

The statement from the ministry included the following expressions: "In this sensitive process, investigations have been initiated ex officio by our Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices regarding provocative shares aimed at inciting hatred and hostility among the public, especially through disinformation activities conducted via social media platforms.

Regarding content that constitutes a crime, all judicial and technical measures, especially access restrictions, will be implemented with determination."
