The Communications Director Burhanettin Duran strongly condemned the attack on the Turkish flag by supporters of terrorist organizations at the Syrian border. Duran stated, "The treacherous attack is a clear provocation aimed at the peace of our nation and targets developments within the scope of the fight against terrorism. Every act of cowardice will be met with the most resolute response. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident." AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik also said, "Those who attack our values will certainly pay the price."

THEY LOWERED OUR FLAG FROM THE POLE
DEM Party held its group meeting this week in the Nusaybin district of Mardin. After the meeting, the situation escalated. A group wanting to protest the Syrian army's operations against the YPG terrorist organization marched towards the border. The group, aiming to cross to the other side of the border, targeted the Turkish flag and lowered it from the pole.

With this attack, it is evident that dark centers aiming to sabotage the goal of a terrorism-free Turkey have once again intervened. These attempts will neither weaken our state's determination nor harm the unity and solidarity of our nation.
