The Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office reported that 8 suspects have been detained in the investigation regarding the crime of "possessing obscene images of children."
In a statement from the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was noted that search and seizure operations were carried out on January 13-15 to obtain evidence of the crime at 138 addresses identified throughout Istanbul.

The statement indicated that 8 suspects have been detained in connection with the incident under investigation, and it was recorded that forensic examinations of the seized digital materials have begun.
The statement also reported that investigation procedures regarding all suspects, including those who are at large, are ongoing.
