Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that the U.S. sacrifices regional countries for Israeli interests, saying, "Our current policy is to continue defending the country, and there are no negotiations with the U.S." He also noted that a ceasefire is a vicious cycle that repeats the war, stating, "We do not want a ceasefire; we want the war to end."

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi made statements regarding the agenda to Iranian state television.

"NO NEGOTIATIONS WITH THE US, WE WANT THE WAR TO END, NOT A CEASEFIRE"

Regarding the claims of negotiations with the US, Arakchi stated, "Some ideas were conveyed through messages and these were communicated to higher authorities. If deemed necessary, a position will be taken and this will be announced by these high-level officials."

The Iranian Minister said that the US sacrifices regional countries for Israeli interests, stating, "Our current policy is to continue defending the country, and there are no negotiations with the US."

Arakchi pointed out that a ceasefire is a vicious cycle that repeats the war, saying, "Foreign ministers and leaders of some countries proposed a ceasefire over the phone, and we conveyed our stance in these discussions as well. We do not want a ceasefire; we want the war to end."

Regarding US President Donald Trump's threat of an attack on Iran's infrastructure, Arakchi said, "Necessary warnings were made by the Armed Forces regarding the threat of an attack on our infrastructures, indicating that a disaster would be faced."

"WE WARNED ALL COUNTRIES REGARDING THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ"

Speaking about the transit through the Strait of Hormuz, Arakchi noted: "We warned all countries that tensions would rise if the Armed Forces entered the Strait of Hormuz. The Strait of Hormuz is located in our territorial waters and is under our sovereignty. Moreover, it is not closed to us; it is only closed to the enemy and those associated with them. Currently, ships cannot pass through the strait because their insurance does not meet the conditions of war. Some countries contacted us and requested passage through the strait, and we accepted some of them. Currently, ships from China, Russia, Iraq, Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh can pass. This will continue after the war as well."

TO EUROPE: THEY SHOWED THEY ARE NOT AN IMPORTANT PLAYER

Emphasizing that the cost of the war is borne by the American people and the people of the region, Arakchi pointed out that European countries claim to be against the war but do not practically condemn the attacks against Iran, stating, "They showed that Europe is not an important player in the international arena."

Arakchi also thanked Turkey, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Afghanistan, and Saudi Arabia for helping to reach Iranian pilgrims stranded outside the country.

US-ISRAEL ATTACKS ON IRAN

While negotiations continue between Tehran and Washington, Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28. Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in some regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel. In the US-Israel attacks, many high-ranking officials, including former Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, were killed.
