Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced that the historic peace agreement reached with the United States was carried out with the approval of religious leader Mojtaba Khamenei. Also addressing the crises experienced with neighboring countries during the war process, Pezeshkian stated, "Many issues and misunderstandings with the Gulf countries have been resolved."

In his speech, Pezeshkian stated that having good relations with neighboring countries helps solve many problems, and said: "One of the main goals of the US and Israel was to create division between Iran and regional countries. However, despite recent events, very good relations have been established with neighboring countries. There is no reason to lower our level of cooperation. Increasing regional cooperation can make significant contributions to the country. In recent weeks, along with diplomatic initiatives, it is gratifying that many issues and misunderstandings with the Persian Gulf countries have been resolved."

"NATIONAL UNITY IS THE COUNTRY'S TOP PRIORITY TODAY"

Referring to the decision to negotiate with the US being made with the approval of Iran's leader Mujtaba Khamenei, Pezeshkian said, "Decisions on war and negotiation are within the authority of the Supreme National Security Council and the Guidance Council. National unity is the country's top priority today. The economy and the livelihood of the people are the government's main concerns."

PAKISTAN ANNOUNCED THE AGREEMENT THE WORLD WAS WAITING FOR

Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif announced that the war between Iran and the US, ongoing since February 28, has officially ended. In a statement on his social media account, Sharif declared that a peace agreement had been reached between the US and Iran after intense and critical negotiations.

MILITARY OPERATIONS ON ALL FRONTS, INCLUDING LEBANON, IMMEDIATELY HALTED

Under the agreement, the parties decided to permanently halt military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon. Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, in a statement on his social media account, said that peace, which will change global balances, has been achieved, using the following words: "After intensive negotiations, we are pleased to announce that a Peace Agreement has been REACHED between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Both sides have declared the immediate and permanent cessation of military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon."

Thanking the US and Iranian authorities for their commitment to a diplomatic solution during the negotiation process, Sharif also expressed gratitude to the mediating countries that were the architects of the peace. Listing the actors who played critical roles in the process one by one, Prime Minister Sharif said, "We extend our most sincere thanks to our brothers in this mediation effort, to the leadership of the great State of Qatar for their support in reaching this agreement. I particularly thank the visionary leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Turkiye for their immense contributions," emphasizing the great contributions of the Ankara, Riyadh, and Doha administrations.

OFFICIAL SIGNING CEREMONY TO BE HELD IN SWITZERLAND ON JUNE 19

With the historic peace agreement coming into effect, a series of preliminary meetings will be held this week under the coordination of the mediating countries to discuss technical details. These critical meetings will also prepare the legal and technical groundwork for the official signing ceremony. Shahbaz Sharif announced that the official signing ceremony, which the whole world is watching, will take place on Friday, June 19, in Switzerland.
